For the last twenty years I have been working in the Senior market.
The last 17 of those years I have been a self-employed Long-Term Care Insurance Specialist and owner of Senior Insurance Solutions.
In this capacity I assist pre-retirement and retired persons with planning for future long-term care protection.
I am a broker representing all of the major LTC carriers in order to better suit my clients' individual needs.
Previously, I was the Marketing Director for a 500-bed hospital in Rome, Georgia, for 5 years.
It was this job that gave me insight into health insurance shortcomings for seniors and prompted me to start my business.
I have relocated to South Ft. Myers from Roanoke, Virginia.
I am now the President of the Rotary Club of Estero.
I am the locally Appointed Long-Term Care Representative for the Florida CPA Association, the Florida Medical Association and the Florida Bar Association's Long-Term Care Program.
I am a member of both the Bonita Springs and Estero Area Chambers of Commerce, and the Financial Planning Association.
I am a Board Member and member for Arts Estero and Member of the Estero Newcomers Club .
I am a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), a graduate of Toastmasters International,
I have been published in National Insurance magazines as well as journals and newspapers in Georgia, Virginia and Florida.
I write a column every month for Mature Lifestyles magazine and my articles also appear in the Southwest Florida Health & Wellness magazine.
In March 2001, I accepted nomination for lifetime membership into the National Registry of Who's Who.
I enjoy golf, exercise, reading and gourmet healthy cooking.
I live in Fort Myers at the Vines at Estero Country Club with my husband, Harry, Klesko, the dog and Buddy, the cat.
